4th Loborika Fun Day

🚴‍♀️ 4th LOBORIKA FUN DAY – Saturday, September 26, from 5 PM to 11 PM A small village of great cyclists – a fun day for the whole family! 🚲 The Marčana Tourist Board invites you to the 4th Loborika Fun Day, a fun and recreational gathering taking place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 5 PM to 11 PM at the sports field in Loborika. Discover Loborika – a small village of great cyclists – through stories, cycling, local heritage, recreation and music. 🕔 5 PM – FREE MULTILINGUAL STORYTELLING WALK THROUGH LOBORIKA The walk starts at the sports field in Loborika and lasts approximately 60 minutes. Discover the history of the village, its religious heritage and natural oases, while also visiting the House of Cycling. 👉 Participation is free of charge and no registration is required. 🚴 6 PM – LOBORIKA FUN BIKE TOURS Two free, non-competitive recreational cycling tours will start from the sports field: 👧 5 km – children's cycling ride, for children accompanied by their parents 🚴‍♂️ 20 km – recreational cycling ride, a moderately demanding route for adults Both routes are circular, with the start and finish at the sports field in Loborika. The shorter route follows paved roads and takes approximately one hour. The longer route continues along gravel roads around Loborika and Muntić to Marčana and back, taking approximately two hours. 📩 Participation is free, but registration is mandatory by Thursday, September 24, via info@tzmarcana.com. Please include: - first and last name - participant's age - preferred short or long route 🎁 The first 60 registered cyclists will receive a Loborika Fun Day T-shirt! ⛑️ Helmets are mandatory for all participants. For the longer route, we recommend bringing a bicycle light or flashlight. 🚲 No bicycle? No problem! Bicycles and accompanying equipment will be available for rent in Loborika. For inquiries and advance rental bookings: 📞 099 477 6627 📧 valciccyclingconcept@gmail.com 👶 CHILDREN'S CYCLING SKILLS COURSE The youngest participants, including preschool children who are just learning to pedal, will have the opportunity to test their skills on a specially designed children's cycling course at the sports field. 🏠 HOUSE OF CYCLING – 5 PM–8 PM Visit the House of Cycling and discover the story of Loborika – a small village with an extraordinary cycling tradition. Established in 2017, the House preserves historical achievements, photographs, medals and trophies won by members of the Loborika Cycling Club at competitions around the world. With expert guidance from Helena and Luciano Valčić, visitors can explore an exhibition dedicated to the lives and international sporting achievements of Nevio Valčić and Cvitko Bilić, road-cycling champions with roots in Loborika, as well as learn about the founding and achievements of the Loborika Cycling Club. 🎶 8 PM – ETALONI BAND – LIVE MUSIC After the cycling, walking and sightseeing, the evening continues with live music and dancing by the Etaloni Band! 🌍 Loborika Fun Day is held as part of the celebration of World Tourism Day, promoting cycling as a healthy, ecological and enjoyable way of life, while supporting the further development of cycling experiences and facilities in the Marčana destination, particularly during the pre- and post-season. 📍 LOCATION: Loborika sports field 📅 SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2026 🕔 5 PM–11 PM 🚲 Come by bike, on foot or with the whole family – see you in Loborika!
