22nd Hike along the Dekani – Tinjan – Dekani Circular Route

TA Dekani and CC Dekani invite you to a community holiday – the 22nd Hike along the Circular Route Dekani – Tinjan – Dekani, on Saturday, 3 October 2026, from 9 AM. The circular route will lead us from the centre of Dekani (63 m), past Zaraven, Golega hriba, through the village of Kolombar to Tinjan (370 m), and then across Podgorje, past Kolombar, over the bridge above the waterfall, and back to Dekani. The route is easy, 8 km long. It takes approximately 2.5 hours of moderate walking and is suitable for all ages. Along the way, we will have a light refreshment with tea. At the Kolombar hunting lodge, the youngest participants can take part in children’s workshops and try archery. The hike will conclude in Dekani in front of the Community Centre, where we will enjoy a warm meal and be entertained by the sound of an accordion. Members of the Volunteer Fire Brigade of Dekani will demonstrate how to prevent the spread of an initial fire, while First Responders will demonstrate the use of a defibrillator during resuscitation.
