Maksim Mrvica - Small Roman Theatre

Maksim Mrvica, a world-renowned virtuoso and one of the most successful crossover pianists of today, returns to Pula after more than ten years, where he will give a concert at the Little Roman Theatre in the heart of Pula on Saturday, June 20, 2026. Maksim Mrvica is coming to Pula as part of the Segmenti 2 world tour, presenting his twelfth studio album “Segments”. The tour has already visited a number of cities around the world, from London and Paris to Sydney, Beijing, Zagreb and Ljubljana. The new, summer chapter of the tour brings a refreshed repertoire, with which the audience will have the opportunity to hear his most famous performances, including Exodus, Game of Thrones and Pirates of the Caribbean. The program combines classical music, world hits and film music, connecting authors such as Chopin, Prokofiev and Tchaikovsky with the music of the groups ABBA and Queen in the recognizable interpretation of this charismatic pianist. The repertoire includes a selection from the new album, as well as well-known compositions from earlier stages of his career. Among them is “Prokofiev Fantasy”, a work that combines Toccata, themes from the ballet Romeo and Juliet and the finale of Sergei Prokofiev’s Third Piano Concerto. Maksim’s performance of “Prokofiev Fantasy” was recently released as a video. Maksim Mrvica is one of the best-selling crossover pianists in the world, with more than 5 million albums sold in 57 countries and numerous gold and platinum releases. He completed his musical education at the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest and the Alexander Scriabin Conservatory in Paris, after winning first prizes at the national competition in Croatia and the Rubinstein Competition in France. He achieved global success with the album “The Piano Player”, which achieved multiple platinum and gold editions. During his career, he performed in the most prestigious halls in the world, including London, New York, Tokyo, Beijing and Sydney, and collaborated with leading record companies. His unique style blurs the boundaries between classical, film and popular music, making him one of the most recognizable musicians of his generation.
