World Tourism Day in Portorož

Tourism creates stories of hospitality, unforgettable memories and enriches the places where we live. World Tourism Day will be celebrated in Portorož on Saturday, 3 October 2026, at Trg prekomorskih brigad. The event begins at 4 pm with a Culinary Promenade offering selected local flavours and authentic Istrian cuisine. The main evening programme begins at 6:30 pm, featuring the Miss Tourism Slovenia 2026 pageant and the ceremonial presentation of the Tourism Coat of Excellence.
