Šavrinke Festival

The Šavrinke were women who walked between the coast and Istria's interior carrying eggs, milk, bread and vegetables to sell. The festival in Račja Vas (Lanišće) revisits their role and links cultural heritage with local products, gastronomy and sustainable tourism. The programme introduces the life and heritage of the Šavrinke and Istrian tradition.
