Opatija Chocolate Festival

Opatija once again becomes the sweetest destination on the Kvarner! From 6 to 8 November 2026, the jubilee 20th edition of the Chocolate Festival takes place — an event that has brought together lovers of chocolate, sweets and fine gastronomy for two decades. Over three days, chocolate will rule Opatija – from Centar Gervais and festival exhibitors, through creative workshops and tastings, to special chocolate offers at Opatija's restaurants, patisseries and wellness centres. Visitors can expect numerous chocolate flavours, pralines, sweets, creative creations and activities for young and old, all in Opatija's distinctive atmosphere and perfect autumn mood. The festival is the perfect opportunity for a sweet weekend by the sea, whether you come with family, friends or as a couple.
