14th Medieval Festival Svetvinčenat – a spectacular three-day event that brings the Middle Ages to life on the picturesque square and in Morosini Grimani Castle. July 31 – August 2, 2026, Svetvinčenat Festival programme: • Knight tournaments and sword duels on the town square (Placa) • Falconry show – breathtaking demonstrations with birds of prey • Fire show – fire acrobats illuminating the summer night • Equestrian tournament – dramatic jousting in full medieval armour • Fair of ancient crafts – blacksmiths, potters, weavers, tanners • Žlinja Camp – an authentic knight's camp with a living depiction of 14th-century life • Music and dance – troubadours, musicians and dance troupes in period costumes • Gastronomy – food and drink prepared to ancient recipes The festival takes place on Svetvinčenat Square, in front of Morosini Grimani Castle.
