Mushroom Days Brtonigla

Mushroom Days in Brtonigla is an autumn gastro festival celebrating the rich mushroom-foraging tradition of Istrian forests and vineyards – truffles, porcini, chanterelles and other aromatic species. Mushrooms are prepared in various ways: with pasta, polenta, eggs, meat, or simply sautéed in olive oil. The festival includes mushroom foraging with experts, species identification talks and gastro workshops.
