Children’s Week: Theatre performance “Oprosti” – matinée for schools

CHILDREN'S WEEK – MATINÉE FOR SCHOOLS Theatre performance “Oprosti” As part of Children's Week, Gandusio Theatre will host the performance “Oprosti”, intended for 5th and 6th grade primary school students. The performance addresses the important and topical issue of peer bullying, exploring what happens before and after a tragic incident caused by repeated bullying, and whether the situation could have been prevented. Three teenagers, bored and lacking activities, decide to wait for a girl named Roza after school and film a fall they have planned. However, their plan goes wrong and Roza ends up in hospital. What follows are school interrogations, the arrival of the police, fear, attempts to cover up what happened, deleted messages and mutual accusations. The story ultimately reaches an emotional turning point when the victim decides to forgive them. The performance raises questions about the causes of violence, responsibility, communication, empathy and the influence of social media, while portraying a generation searching for more meaningful content and experiences than endless scrolling. 📅 Monday, 5 October 2026 🕙 10:00 AM & 11:30 AM 📍 Gandusio Theatre, Rovinj 👧🧒 Age group: 5th and 6th grade primary school students ⏱️ Duration: 50 minutes 🎭 Production: Tvornica lutaka Theatre, Zagreb 🎟️ Free admission Director: Petra Radin Cast: Lara Škrinjar, Josip Brakus, Matija Šakoronja The programme is co-financed by the City of Rovinj-Rovigno and the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia.
