Healing Father Wounds – Weekend Intensive

A father wound is a psychological and emotional pattern that develops when a child experiences emotional absence, neglect, abuse, rejection, criticism, inconsistency, control or unreliability from the father (or a father figure), and a lack of safety, protection or affirmation from male authority. In adulthood it can manifest as difficulty trusting, fear of abandonment, anxiety, emotional shutdown, attraction to unavailable partners, boundary issues, achievement-based self-worth, addictions and many other patterns. Over the three-day intensive, participants explore and heal the deeply rooted dynamics of their relationship with their father, through emotional integration, re-parenting the inner child, grieving, shadow work and group support. The workshop includes individual work, pair work and group work. It is intended exclusively for those who are ready for deep inner work.
