What happens when a mother and her son sit down for a coffee? Quite a lot, especially when the mother wants to know everything about her son's life. As part of the 6th Bembo Fest, on Thursday, 20 August at 9:00 PM, Tomaso Bembo Square will host the theatre performance “Na kavici u podne” (A Coffee at Noon) by Miro Gavran. This comedy explores the relationship between a mother and her son through everyday conversations, advice, misunderstandings and situations that many people will recognise. She is a mother who likes to know everything that happens in her son's life, while he tries to keep the peace and avoid conflicts, often by following his mother's advice. The story follows their relationship through different situations and stages of life, from 1988 to 2019, offering a humorous look at family dynamics and the ways in which relationships evolve over time.
