Bembo Fest 2026 in Bale: Theater, music and art under the stars

From June 25 to September 3, Bale will once again become the stage for one of the most special summer cultural events in Istria. Organized by the Fort Forno Theatre, Bembo Fest has been gathering top theatre artists, musicians and audiences eager for quality content in the unique ambience of Bale's squares, streets and the Fort Forno fortress for the sixth year running. The Fort Forno Theatre has been enriching the cultural life of Bale for years through its productions, collaborations and festivals, creating a space for artists and audiences to meet and promoting theatre art in an authentic Istrian setting. Bembo Fest has become one of its most recognizable projects and an unavoidable part of summer in Bale. The programme features a series of comedies, dramas, music and stage projects, concerts, poetry evenings and exhibitions.
