6. Bembo Fest – «Survey on the Erotic Life of Croatian Women»

A preview that raises questions about love, marriage and relationships. The preview of the new play by Tatjana Šuput Raponja, “A Survey on the Erotic Life of Croatian Women,” will be held as part of the 6th Bembo Fest, on Thursday, July 30, at 9 p.m. at Trg Tomaso Bembo in Bale. A seemingly simple sociological survey turns into a conversation that raises questions about marriage, love, women's experiences, expectations and relationships. When sociology graduate Anica comes to the home of Mrs. Ivana Domjanić to conduct research for a magazine, the pre-prepared questions gradually give way to honest confessions, humor and confronting topics that often remain unspoken. Tatjana Šuput Raponja's drama, through witty and sharp dialogues, questions how honest we are with ourselves, how much we play given roles in everyday life, and whether one unpleasant question can open the way to the truth. The play is directed by Robert Raponja, and produced by Gala Teatar, starring Matija Prskalo, Petra Kraljev, and Slavko Juraga.
