We bring you a historical drama that, through three time periods, Republican Spain 1932, wartime 1937 and contemporary 2017, paints a mosaic of the lives of three young men connected by a lost work by Federico García Lorca. La Bola Negra by Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi is a sumptuous historical spectacle about hidden histories and the connections between past and present, reality and fiction. The film caused a sensation at this year's Cannes Film Festival - the premiere was greeted with an 18-minute standing ovation, Calvo and Ambrossi won the award for best director, and it won over critics with its ambitious, cleverly told and emotionally engaging story. La Bola Negra also won the Cinema Network Award at this year's Pula Film Festival! Tickets for the screening can be purchased in advance on the cinema's website, and on the day of the screening at the Kina Valli box office. See you! The "Fifth Process" program was realized with funds from the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia, Istria County, the City of Pula, the Tourist Board of the City of Pula and the Kultura nova Foundation.
