Anyone seeking the highest level of songwriting refinement and the art of sonic poetry in contemporary Italian pop music will come across the name of a man who says: "Every concert is like an encounter in which we get to know one another through sound and words." Bungaro appeared at the Sanremo Festival in 1988, 1991 and 2004, when he received the award for Best Music as well as the prize for special literary merit of the lyrics.
