Exhibition: Mosaics in Freedom – Poreč 2026

From October 2nd to 25th, 2026, the Istrian Assembly Hall in Poreč will host the international exhibition "Mosaics in Freedom–Poreč 2026," bringing together 39 renowned mosaic artists and professors from six continents. This major cultural event connects contemporary artistic creation with Poreč's rich mosaic heritage, a town whose most recognisable symbol is the UNESCO-listed Euphrasian Basilica and its precious mosaics. Participants include renowned artists and experts from around the world, among them Marco Santi, Beatrice Serre, Giulio Candussio, Luciano Petris, as well as Poreč artist Alex Knapić. The exhibition is organised by Bohemian Garden Croatia, an international summer school of mosaic art, and curated by Ravenna-based artist Rosanna Fattorini.
