Live Restoration – Presentation of the Sgraffito in the Museum Lapidarium

In the museum lapidarium, located in the gardens of Belgramoni Tacco Palace, stands a large wall sgraffito created in 1956 by painter Vladimir Lakovič. The event begins with a presentation of the artwork and the history of the site, once a hotel terrace, now part of the museum. Visitors will then be able to watch conservation and restoration specialists from the Restoration Centre of the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia at work and learn about conservation procedures and the sgraffito technique.
