Solid Liquid Gas

The "Solid Liquid Gas" series of works explores the boundaries between the stable and the changeable, between matter and process. Through layered abstract compositions, shapes are constantly transforming; what seems solid in one moment becomes fluid or disappears into space the next. The project's visual language is based on organic structures reminiscent of geological cross-sections, topographic maps, microscopic samples or satellite images, leaving the viewer room for their own interpretation. The works are created through a process of layering, revealing and accumulating layers of colour, where the trace of the process remains just as important as the final form.
