Let's sing Istrian buckets

The 28th traditional gathering "Zakantajmo istrijanske kante" in Barat (by the Church of St. Peter in Chains, or the nearby community hall in case of bad weather). Singers from across Istria perform close-interval two-part singing ("singing thin and thick") – a folk singing style protected in Croatia's Register of Cultural Goods and on UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list. Socialising continues late into the night after the programme.
