As part of its 2nd concert season, the Istrian Chamber Orchestra performs "Storia de un soldato", Igor Stravinsky's music-theatre work, on Friday, 13 November 2026 at 7:30 PM at the Circolo in Pula. Free admission. For this occasion, L'Histoire du soldat (The Soldier's Tale) from 1918 was translated into Istro-Venetian dialect by Giulia Dussich, who also directs. The piece blends music, theatre and storytelling: a soldier sells his violin to the devil in exchange for riches, raising questions about human desire, temptation and the price of happiness. Stravinsky wrote it for seven instrumentalists and a narrator, in a world where classical music, jazz and popular dance rhythms intertwine. Performers are actor Niko Korenika and musicians of the Istrian Chamber Orchestra conducted by Petar Matošević. When: Friday, 13 November 2026, 7:30 PM Where: Circolo, Pula Admission: free
