For centuries, Žminjska Bartulja has not only been an event on the calendar – it is a meeting of people, customs and memories. On the last weekend in August, we gather again behind the castle, in the heart of Istria, to celebrate what connects us – tradition, togetherness and joy. This year, Bartulja also brings a rich program that begins a week before the main festival. SATURDAY • August 22 Bartulja begins in a sporty spirit with the "Bartulja 2026." Bocce Tournament, which will be held at 1:00 PM at the Petar Radovan bocce court in Vidulini. SUNDAY • August 23 Recreation and nature lovers will once again come into their own with the Žminjska Bicycle Race. 🚴 Start: 10:00 AM More information about registration and the route itself will be announced soon. FRIDAY • August 28 We open the evening with a great atmosphere and a concert by Sergej Ćetković, whose most beautiful songs will mark the beginning of another unforgettable Bartulja. A large children's funfair awaits you at the handball court throughout the day, full of content for the youngest. SATURDAY • August 29 Saturday evening is reserved for energy, dancing and the greatest hits with Toni Cetinski. In the morning, from 08:00 to 12:00, the Traditional Fair of Indigenous Breeds will be held at the fairground, a unique opportunity to get to know domestic animals and the rich rural heritage of our region. A large children's funfair awaits you at the handball court on Saturday as well. But Bartulja is not just a stage.
