Programme: 🎬 My Husband Lives On as an AI (44 min) Director: Franka Schönwandt · Germany · 2024 The latest generation of artificial intelligence can imitate real people with unsettling precision, making digital versions of deceased loved ones and even partnerships with AI possible. The documentary follows journalist Frank Seibert as he explores how this technology can transform grief, love and human relationships. He meets Michael, one of the first people in Germany to create his own AI twin while dying of cancer, recording his memories so that a digital self would remain after his death. 🎬 Plastic Fantastic (55 min) Director: Isa Willinger · Germany · 2023 Plastic is a nightmare for many scientists and activists.
