Anchovy Festival Vabriga

The Anchovy Festival in Vabriga is a traditional fishing celebration dedicated to anchovies – one of the most prized fish of the Istrian sea. Guests can taste fresh anchovies prepared in the traditional Istrian way: grilled, marinated with onion and vinegar, or fried. Fish is accompanied by local wines, Istrian olive oil and homemade delicacies. The programme includes music, dance and festivities in a Mediterranean seaside setting.
