How do you draw them into a concert hall without them “dying of boredom”? How do you turn “let’s go to a concert” into a sentence they actually want to hear? “Dirigenti” is the answer! By a twist of fate, two stagehands find themselves in the middle of a concert. They were just about to move some instruments and put the sheet music and lamps in place, got a little carried away with grimacing and play, when it happens! The orchestra rushes in, along with a strict conductor, and the concert begins! And now what?! There is no way out! A breathtaking game of hiding, clowning, conducting, playing, chasing and escaping begins. All with Mozart’s music in the background… On top of that, Dirigenti is an entertaining interplay of (top-class) music and acting, in the universal language of music and movement that absolutely everyone understands! This concert-play is intended for older kindergarten children, primary school pupils and family audiences. It brings the world of classical music closer to children in a way that is adapted to them, understandable and fun, and opens the doors of concert halls to them from an early age. Ticket price: €5.50 / Family ticket price: €4 (the discount applies when buying 3 or more tickets, exclusively at the Festival Opatija box offices – Summer Stage and Centar Gervais).
