Performance by the Winners of the Bilhorod Circus Festival from Ukraine

The Bilhorod Circus Fest is not an ordinary festival. In the village of Bilohorodka, near Kyiv, Ukraine, in the midst of war, young Ukrainian artists – children and teenagers – have been taking the stage and flying for six years now. Acrobats, equilibrists, aerial acts, contortion. A festival that gathered 120 children from across Ukraine in 2025, and even more in 2026, has become a place where talent is heard louder than sirens. This autumn the winners and best acts of that festival are coming to Croatia. This is not just a guest performance. It is a thank-you. 35 talented young acrobats aged 8 to 18, trained through a unique professional programme in performing circus skills, will perform in Opatija, and the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to humanitarian causes. The Croatian humanitarian association Dobro Dobrim DoDo has been sending aid convoys to Ukraine for years – food, medicine, clothing, equipment. The festival in Bilohorodka received their support, and they are organising the artists’ visit. Come and see them – not as an audience looking for spectacle, but as people who understand what it means to give someone space to breathe a little more freely. 📅 Thursday, 1 October 2026, 6:30 PM 📍 Centar Gervais, Opatija 🎟️ Tickets online at Entrio.hr and at authorised sales points (Opatija – GHETALDUS, Trg Vladimira Gortana 4/4).
