Rovinj Craft Tour | 17.9.2026.

If you'd like to discover traditional customs, crafts and handiwork, join a guided tour of Rovinj's old town core with an expert guide. Departure is in front of the Rovinj-Rovigno Tourist Board, Trg na mostu 2, at 10:00 AM. During the roughly 2.5-hour tour, participants visit Rovinj's only remaining shoemaking workshop, located on Zdenac Street, an original Rovinj konoba (tavern), and Spàcio Matika on Vladimira Švalbe Street, where they take part in a pastry-making workshop for Rovinj's traditional "fijoki". At the Batana House Eco-museum, visitors learn about Rovinj's fishing and batana-boat traditions, and nearby can watch net-mending and boat building/repair demonstrations as well as demijohn-weaving. At the House of Rovinj Pelinkovac, visitors learn all about the production of the famous Rovinj pelinkovac liqueur and other liqueurs made following a century-old traditional recipe. At the Agrorovinj Association's tasting room, participants take part in a workshop making Istrian soup (supa).
