Night Under the Stars – OPG Leme

Experience a real summer adventure in nature with an astronomy evening at the beautiful excursion site and animal farm OPG Leme. On Saturday, August 15, an astronomy evening will be held with meteor shower watching (Perseids) and a talk about light pollution. Participants will be educated on light pollution by Marino Tumip (professor at the Pula Industrial-Craft School and head of the Vidulin Observatory), who will also show how and where to observe the Perseid meteor shower. This will also mark the start of a new initiative, "Kanfanar – a place where you can see the stars," aiming to keep the sky over this area dark and natural, free of light pollution.
