Early Music Festival. The ensemble Gli Angeli Genève performs "Israelis Brünnlein" by Johann Hermann Schein (Leipzig, 1623) – a selection from the collection of motets. The programme offers fine examples of historically informed early music performance by leading European ensembles, featuring masterpieces of German and Italian music from the 16th and 17th centuries. At the concert in the Church of St. Euphemia the audience will enjoy the original sound of the restored Baroque organ built by Antonio Barbini in 1754.
