Recreational and Health-Promoting Event as Part of Pink Ribbon Month On Friday, 16 October 2026, starting at 4:00 PM, the recreational and health-promoting event "Walking for Health" will take place in Poreč as part of Pink Ribbon Month, dedicated to raising awareness of breast cancer and the importance of prevention and early detection. The programme includes a group walk and Nordic walking, with participants gathering in front of the Municipal Court building in Poreč. The activity is organised in cooperation with the Poreč Sports Association. The aim of the event is to encourage regular physical activity, promote healthy lifestyle habits and show support for people affected by breast cancer. It also provides an opportunity for socialising and expressing solidarity with those facing the disease. All interested residents and visitors are invited to join the walk and support this important public health initiative through their participation.
