Bela Nedeja 2026 – Always a New Story

When Kastav fills with the scents of autumn, the sound of music and glasses of young Belica wine at the beginning of October, you know what it means – Bela Nedeja has arrived. From 3 to 5 October 2026, Kastav once again becomes a meeting place for tradition, wine, local flavours, music and a great atmosphere. Bela Nedeja is not just another festival. It is a Kastav tradition more than 600 years old, dating back as far as 1400 and having grown over the centuries into one of the largest and most recognisable events in the Kvarner region. At its heart is young wine, above all Kastav's Belica, together with the lively atmosphere that takes over when the old town turns into a huge traditional fair for three days. What awaits you? Wine and tastings, local products, food and wine offerings, handmade crafts, traditional crafts, market stalls, music, cultural programmes and activities for all generations. Part of the festival's special charm lies in its authentic setting in the old town of Kastav – among stone-paved streets, medieval town walls and Crekvina, overlooking Kvarner Bay.
