A Window into the Atelier

A new spot in town meets two artists who have already left their mark on its cultural landscape. The artistic duo OK1 – Eni Jekić and Dea Curić, visual artists living and working in Poreč – open the doors of their atelier this year, moving fragments of it into the shop window of the newly opened Abadat gallery. "A Window into the Atelier" displays what usually stays hidden between the start and the finished work: tools bearing traces of use, materials still waiting for their moment, found objects, attempts, mistakes, coincidences and small things that have settled in the space over time. Everything that accumulates while working, thinking, searching and creating. The exhibition is part of the 26th Street Art Poreč festival programme and runs from 24 to 29 August.
