Mullet in the Nets: Traditional Grey Mullet Fishing and Watercolours of Adriatic Fish

The new temporary exhibition at the Monfort venue in Portorož presents the tradition of mullet fishing in the Bay of Piran and the different types of fishing nets. Curated by Nadja Terčon and Veronika Bjelica in collaboration with Vinko Oblak, the exhibition narrative is complemented by watercolours by Venice-based artist Luigi Divari, based on decades of research into Adriatic fishing history.
