Join us to discover Rovinj's cultural and historical landmarks, guided by a local storyteller! Departure and meeting with the guide is in front of the Rovinj-Rovigno Tourist Board, Trg na mostu 2, at 10:00 AM. The 2-hour walk through the old town includes short stops at the most interesting points: Garibaldi Street, the family shoemaking workshop on Zdenac Street, Bregovita Street, the viewpoint, St. Euphemia's Church (with a visit inside), Grisia Street, Poreč Street, Garzotto Street, Veli trg square, the Gate Under the Wall, the town harbour, Maršala Tita Square, the town clock, and the Batana Eco-museum. Along the way, in the old-town street of Casale, participants will be greeted by musicians performing traditional Rovinj songs — bitinada and arie da nuoto. At the nearby Osteria Casale, participants can taste simple fish dishes, such as salted anchovies. The tour also includes a visit to the Church of St. Francis of Assisi and its monastery collection, home to numerous liturgical objects and valuable paintings and sculptures.
