Piaf Edith Piaf – Theatre Performance (Izola)

Some performances last a season or two. Rarely, they last a decade. Then there are those that defy time and become theatrical legends. PIAF EDITH PIAF is one of them. It has been 20 years since the premiere of the performance, which came to life in Ljubljana's Kavarna Union and has since delighted audiences throughout Slovenia. At the center is the exceptional Vesna Pernarčič Žunić, who brings the unforgettable Edith Piaf to life through acting and song. Her singing and theatrical interpretation also earned her the Borštnik Award for Best Female Role, and the quality of the performance has been confirmed by numerous guest appearances and sold-out halls for two decades. Accompanied by the piano of Joži Šale, the life of one of the greatest icons of French chanson unfolds before us - directly, emotionally and without unnecessary details.
