EUROCUP ISTRIA 2026

International Karate Tournament On Saturday, 7 November 2026, the Veli Jože Sports and Recreation Centre in Poreč will host the 27th edition of the international karate tournament EUROCUP ISTRIA 2026, organised by Finida Poreč Karate Club. This traditional tournament, included in the Croatian Karate Federation's competition calendar, brings together karate athletes of various ages who will compete in kata and kumite (fighting). The competition covers age categories ranging from the youngest participants aged 5 to 7, through cadets, juniors and seniors, to veterans over the age of 35. The official opening ceremony is scheduled for 9:45 AM, followed by the kata competitions starting at 10:00 AM. Kumite competitions for younger age categories will begin at 1:00 PM, while matches for cadets, juniors, under-21 competitors, seniors and veterans are scheduled from 3:00 PM. Founded in 1998, Finida Poreč Karate Club has been successfully organising this international tournament for many years, promoting karate, sportsmanship and connections between athletes from different countries. EUROCUP ISTRIA 2026 will further enrich Poreč's sporting calendar in November and once again confirm the city as a renowned destination for hosting international sporting competitions.
