Here We Are at Home – 70 Years of the Piran Pensioners’ Association

This year, the Piran Pensioners’ Association celebrates 70 years since its foundation and 15 years of organising Senior Citizens’ Day. The programme is intended for senior citizens and everyone interested in the life and activities of pensioners and other adults in the Municipality of Piran and beyond. To mark the important 70th anniversary, this year’s event will feature a particularly rich programme with numerous cultural performances. The event is organised as part of the month dedicated to senior citizens and the week celebrating the Municipality of Piran. The programme brings together performances by younger and older participants, with the aim of encouraging mutual and intergenerational connections and cooperation. All performers taking part in the programme are volunteers. A special exhibition will be on display in the White Hall of Avditorij Portorož from 20 to 31 October 2026. Organizer: Avditorij Portorož-Portorose
