The Razpoka festival, for everyone who loves old houses and new ideas, also comes to Koper. At 5:00 PM architect Matjaž Bolčina of ARP Studio will lead participants around the renovated Libertas and explain how the former salt warehouse became a crossroads of cultures. At 6:00 PM, the talk “Participation and Its Pitfalls” follows in the Small Hall. When we shape space together, we accept compromises. When, in the name of democratisation, do we choose the lesser evil? When does participatory planning benefit a space, and when is it merely a superficial gesture to appease people? The speakers are Dr Neža Čebron Lipovec and Dr Boštjan Bugarič, with moderator Neža Kokol. Production: Kajža, hub for renovation and sustainable living. Co-producer: Museum of Architecture and Design MAO. Festival partners: Libertas Crossroads of Cultures, Puppet Theatre Maribor. 📅 Tuesday, 20 October 2026, 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM 📍 Libertas, Small Hall, Koper 🎟️ Free entry
