"Serenissima Montona" – Free Guided Tour

The magical streets of Motovun will once again come alive with the spirit of centuries past! The costumed interpretive walk "Serenissima Montona" is dedicated to the town's glorious Venetian past. Led by Venetian Captain Sebastiano Venier (guide Mate Mekiš) and Cecilia Contarini (guide Martina Trento Dagostini), participants visit a series of thematic stops bringing to life the period of Venetian Republic rule, which lasted 526 years in Motovun. Around twenty costumed performers from the Italian Community "Buie" (Buje) and "Giuseppe Tartini" (Piran) also take part. Jointly organized by the Municipality of Motovun and its Tourist Board.
