🎬 WORLD DAY FOR AUDIOVISUAL HERITAGE – PAZIN Two film classics at Magnus Cinema Pazin Centre for Culture and Education celebrates World Day for Audiovisual Heritage! This year, as many as 38 cinemas across Croatia are taking part in the celebration. The programme honours two important anniversaries: the 100th anniversary of the birth of Nikola Tanhofer, one of Croatia’s most significant filmmakers, and the 50th anniversary of the beloved children’s classic Train in the Snow. To mark the occasion, Magnus Cinema in Pazin presents two special screenings – a wonderful opportunity to discover these classics for the first time or enjoy them once again on the big screen. 🎞️❤️ 🎞️ SATURDAY, 24 October at 11:00 AM – Train in the Snow (1976) “When little hands join together, anything is possible!” ❤️ Who could forget Ljuban, Drago, Pero and their unforgettable adventure? Directed by Mate Relja and based on the novel by Mato Lovrak, this beloved children’s classic celebrates its 50th anniversary this year! Perhaps this is the perfect opportunity to revisit the film you grew up with and share it with your children or grandchildren, enjoying together a story about friendship, solidarity and the power of teamwork. 😊 📍 Location: Magnus, Pazin 🎟️ Admission to both screenings is free! By preserving our film heritage, we protect much more than films. We preserve stories, memories and a part of our cultural identity that connects generations. ❤️ See you at Magnus! The programme celebrating World Day for Audiovisual Heritage is organised in partnership with the Croatian Cinema Network, the Croatian State Archives / Croatian Cinematheque and Kinoholik, with financial support from the Kultura Nova Foundation and the Croatian Audiovisual Centre. All materials used in the programme are archival materials from the collection of the Croatian State Archives.
