Birikina Celebrates 20th Birthday

The Birikina Pula Association celebrates 20 years of activity! Saturday, 5 Sept 2026, on the terrace of Circolo Pula, from 10:00 to 13:00 and 17:00 to 20:00. MORNING PROGRAMME (10:00–13:00): - Exhibition of professional puppets from Birikina Pula's collection, 2006 to today (curated by Anja Cvek) - Exhibition of professional costumes from Birikina Pula's collection, 2006 to today (curated by Leana Alić) - Storytelling intermezzo by Aleksandar Bančić - 10:30 – Children's show "A Fisherman's Tale" (performed by Dejan Gotal and Sedina Cerovac) - The Birikinas tell stories: A Cupboard Full of Tales (Izabela Aranza, Sarah Zancovich) - 11:30 – Children's show "Alone in the World" 4+ (performed by Gordana Šimić) AFTERNOON PROGRAMME (17:00–20:00): - Exhibition of professional puppets and costumes (same as morning) - 17:30 – Children's show "The Almond Branch" 3+ (performed by Aleksandar Bančić and Vesna Mileta Laković) - Poetry intermezzo by Nikola Dubroja - 19:00 – Non-verbal children's show "Špira and Baldo: In Search of the Blue Horizon" (performed by Anja Volf, Marin Leo Janković, Vesna Mileta Laković) Free admission. Join us in marking 20 years of the Birikina Pula Association! In case of rain, the programme will be held in the Circolo hall.
