Musica Sacra 2026 – International Choral Festival

"Musica Sacra – over the borders" international choral festival, with over 20 years of tradition, will take place in Croatia for the fifth time in a row. Previous festivals were hosted in Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy and Slovenia. The festival was initiated by Manfred Linsbauer in Austria over 20 years ago, meant to bring people from all neighbouring countries of Austria together to make music, with an emphasis on spiritual — often classical — choral music. "Musica Sacra across the borders" means more than 20 years of international understanding, over 100 participating choirs, and thousands of listeners over the years. The festival takes place in two beautiful Istrian towns: Vrsar and Rovinj, and participants will have the opportunity to see all the beauty of Istria County on tours and concerts in various places in the destination.
