Author Evening with Daniela Uzelac – 10 Years of the “Path of the Goddess” Series

The Author Evening with Daniela Uzelac is a gathering dedicated to the books that, over the past decade, have opened a completely different conversation about femininity, sexuality and relationships between men and women. The books grew out of personal experiences and inner journeys through stubborn layers of conditioning, as well as research into ancient insights about the female nature. The books of this series once again weave threads between the knowledge of ancient times, the “golden age of humanity”, and the challenges of the modern woman. It is precisely this combination that has helped “Path of the Goddess” find numerous readers across the region and become recognisable for its view of a femininity that dared to step out of the earlier “grandma” straitjacket and remind a woman of her own nature, strength and inner authority. Daniela Uzelac is one of the first authors in the region to systematically open the topic of authentic femininity in the public space. Over the years a distinctive authorial world has developed around her work, in which femininity is seen not as a role but as a way of being. The festive Opatija event will be moderated by the actress Jelena Miholjević, and the conversation about the books will be joined by the opera diva Antonella Malis and the comic artist, illustrator, musician and writer Dalibor Talajić. The musical part of the evening will be provided by the guitar virtuoso Goran Tomić. The programme will take place on the 1st floor of Centar Gervais (“Sky bar”).
