Jesen moje mladosti (Autumn of My Youth) – SNG Nova Gorica

So young, yet so wise, perceptive and topical that they still speak to us today! The letters exchanged by Fanica Obid – Mirjam (1903–1940) and Srečko Kosovel (1904–1926) were published in the Kosovel year under the title “Ali vi še kaj pišete?” (Do You Still Write?) by Mladinska knjiga, and in September came to life in the theatre production “Jesen moje mladosti”, a co-production of SNG Nova Gorica and GO! 2025 – European Capital of Culture. The roughly hour-long, condensed and delicately woven performance, which we will see in the Small Hall at the Libertas Festival, is followed by a discussion. The young correspondents, their insights, thoughts and feelings will be brought closer by the book’s editor Nela Malečkar, adapter, director, set and costume designer Patrizia Jurinčič Finžgar and young actors Nejc Kravos and Hela Beltram, in conversation with Libertas programme director Andraž Gombač.
