24th Dvigrad Festival – Opening: Capella Itineris

The new, 24th edition of the Dvigrad Festival opens on Saturday, 5 September, with a concert by the Swiss ensemble Capella Itineris. Starting at 8 PM, in the beautiful setting of the Basilica of St. Sophia in Dvigrad, the musicians will present the programme "I Piffari – Through the Seven Ages of Man". Through Renaissance and early Baroque music, the programme follows the seven stages of human life, creating a unique musical story about people, their experiences and life periods. Expect an evening of top-tier early music in one of Istria's most special historic settings. Free admission.
