Nina Mršnik: Apartment | Solo Exhibition Loža Gallery, Koper, 23 October 2026–20 February 2027 | Opening: Friday, 23 October 2026, at 7:00 PM. After more than a decade of developing the projects Kobeiagi Kilims and Pečeno pohištvo, designer Nina Mršnik is entering a new period of creative work. The exhibition Apartment at Loža Gallery in Koper is a space for questioning and reassembly, raising questions about what it means to be a designer over the age of forty in Slovenia’s post-industrial environment, where to position oneself after completing long-term projects, and under what conditions it is economically possible to persist in creative work today. The starting point of Apartment is personal, yet it opens onto the broader questions of living, survival, and the conditions under which creative work can become, or remain, a way of life. Nina, who comes from Koper and inherited an apartment in the Slovenian capital from her grandmother from Ljubljana, thus finds herself in a paradoxical position: it is precisely material security, which is itself a privilege, that enables her to persist in cultural and design work. 🕚 Opening hours: 11:00 AM–5:00 PM
