Concert: JazzIstra Orchestra & Nola

Pula’s Nola and the JazzIstra Orchestra join forces in a special concert project that combines Nola’s recognisable songs with the rich sound of a big jazz orchestra. Gabrijela Galant Jelenić and Marijan Jelenić, the songwriting and performing core of Nola, perform their songs with an orchestra of outstanding Istrian jazz musicians. The audience can look forward to well-known songs such as “Dio tebe”, “Iznad oblaka”, “Moj svijet”, “Želim te u naručju” and others from more than three decades of Nola’s work, this time in new arrangements and with the fresh energy of a big-band sound. For more than a decade the JazzIstra Orchestra has brought together outstanding Istrian musicians and is known for projects that give different genres a new jazz face. After Istrian traditional music and the repertoires of Atomsko sklonište, Franci Blašković and KUD Idijoti, the orchestra now meets the melodic pop of Nola. 📅 31 Oct 2026, 8 PM 📍 Spomen dom, Pazin Organiser: Centre for Culture and Education Pazin.
