Group Exhibition of the Winners of “Mandrać – Mandracchio 2026”

On Wednesday, 14 October 2026, at 7 p.m., the Group Exhibition of the winning artists of the international painting competition “Mandrać – Mandracchio 2026”, held on 29 and 30 August in Volosko, opens at the Juraj Šporer Art Pavilion in Opatija. Six artists are exhibiting: Vedran Ružić, Jerneja Menzinger and Gabriella Grabušić, awarded in the “General Category”, and Iva Starac, Kristina Kinkela Valčić and Edi Gustin, winners of the Ex Tempore category. Besides their winning works, the artists will also present several other works selected by the curator Daina Glavočić, an art historian and member of this year’s international Mandrać jury. It is precisely the combination of art, tradition and the special atmosphere of Volosko that gives Mandrać its distinctiveness and special value. Year after year it connects artists and audiences, experienced authors and those only discovering their artistic expression, creating a space for meeting, socialising and exchanging ideas, preserving tradition while leaving room for new generations and new artistic experiences. The exhibition can be visited freely until 1 November 2026, Tuesday to Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
