Dadathlon Istria – Sveti Lovreč 2026

Let's connect and run together! For the first time, Dadathlon is coming to Istria — specifically to the Municipality of Sveti Lovreč! We invite children, dads, grandfathers, uncles, godfathers and other family members to join us for an unforgettable family sports event held as part of the Lorentino Festival. Dadathlon is not a race where being the fastest matters most. The goal is to spend time together, strengthen family bonds, laugh, have fun and create memories that will last a lifetime. 📅 Date and location 📍 Location: Sveti Lovreč, as part of the Lorentino Festival 🗓️ Date: October 11, 2026 🔁 Backup date in case of bad weather or force majeure: October 18, 2026 Venue: Gradski trg 1, Sveti Lovreč Pazenatički – across from the Joakim Rakovac Elementary School. The event schedule will be announced later. 🏁 Race details 👣 Planned course length: around 2 km 👨‍👦‍👦 Participants: children, dads, grandfathers, uncles, godfathers and other male figures who are role models to children. Mothers, grandmothers, other family members and everyone who supports the Dadathlon concept can also take part. 💵 Participation fee €10 per adult €6 per child Registration is mandatory, and one registration is submitted per family. When registering, you need to state the total number of adult and child participants and select the appropriate T-shirt sizes. The participation fee is symbolic, as the Municipality of Sveti Lovreč co-finances Dadathlon participation costs. Note: In case of withdrawal from participation, the paid amount is non-refundable, but the starter pack can be collected at the Municipality of Sveti Lovreč. 🚼 Children and aids Children under 6 may participate using suitable aids, such as: strollers, bicycles, scooters. 🏅 What's included? Every participant receives: a T-shirt, a medal, a starting number. In addition, every family receives one Dadathlon bag. ✨ Additional programme Additional family activities will also be organised as part of the Lorentino Festival. More information about the programme, schedule and additional content will be announced later on the event's Facebook page and on the Municipality of Sveti Lovreč's website – Lovreština info. 📸 Photography and filming Photos and videos may be taken during the event for Dadathlon and Lorentino Festival promotional purposes. If you do not want yourself or your child to be photographed or filmed, please notify the organiser before the event begins. The organiser will provide an appropriate way to mark people who do not wish to be photographed or filmed. 💖 Shared moments matter It doesn't matter how fast you run.
