After World War II (1945), the political and economic organization of the world was created, as well as the largest number of international institutions that supported these policies and organizations. The dominant role in this organization of the world political and economic order was played by America, as by far the most powerful country in the world at that time and for the next fifty years. Its economic power gave it military and, accordingly, political power. About fifteen years ago, significant changes in the relations of global economic powers became increasingly visible. High rates of economic growth, unprecedented in history, brought China from an underdeveloped economy to the second economy in the world. Several other countries with larger populations also play an increasingly significant role in the global economy. These countries are seeking their political position in accordance with their current economic power. They are trying to organize and strengthen their political position on the world stage and through association in BRICS. Over the past fifty years, countries have dominantly tried to achieve their interests in the global economy using geo-economic instruments, that is, economic means (trade, economic aid, investments, technical assistance...). In this way, they tried to achieve their political goals. The most extreme instruments of geoeconomics are sanctions, customs, monetary, trade and economic wars, which have been used in the past ten years, when there is an increased confrontation between countries. In the past years, the relations between opposing countries, in terms of the new world order, have led to armed conflicts, whereby relations between countries, in addition to instruments of geoeconomics, begin to include instruments of geopolitics with war as an extended arm of (geo)politics.
