Rudi Bučar is a Slovenian singer-songwriter and musician, born and strongly connected to Izola, where he also lives and creates. He is often described as an "Istrian troubadour", as his music combines Istrian folk tradition, dialect and contemporary musical styles, thus preserving and in his own way modernising the cultural identity of Slovenian Istria. His work is based on the interweaving of original music and traditional Istrian songs, which he interprets in a fresh and emotionally powerful way. It is Izola and the wider Istrian environment that are a constant source of inspiration in his lyrics, which often speak of the sea , people, everyday life and belonging to the place. Bučar is known for his sincere and direct performance on stage, while successfully connecting different generations of listeners with his music. With numerous performances at home and abroad, he has become one of the most recognizable musical ambassadors of Istria and an important voice of the contemporary Slovenian singer-songwriter scene. The concert will take place on Saturday, March 13, 2027 at 8:00 PM at the Izola Cultural Center. Ticket price: advance sale: €20 on the day of the concert: €25
